Summer Funday and Table Top Sale

Hi Everyone,

Plans are now well under way for this years Summer Fun Day and Table Top Sale, which is due to be held on 28th June. As always we need lots of help to make it a success. If you could help set up some stalls anytime from 8am or help clear away anytime after 3pm, we would be really grateful. The funday itself starts at midday so we'll need lots of help during the following 3 hours. We have a huge amount of activities this year, starting with the table top sale. Do you have things you have grown out of and would like to sell? Ring 01462 623126 and ask for Gayle, each pitch is £5 and she will give you the rest of the details on the Table Top sale. We have a bouncy slide and 2 bouncy castles, a carnival games area, BBQ & Beer tent and the emergency services will also be on site including Police Scene of Crimes (Fancy having your finger prints taken?) We also have some face painters, one of which has apologised for not being able to do butterflies and princesses - she can only do ghouls and ghosts and casualty style face painting. So if you want to be made up like frankenstein, dracula or have a really nasty scar painted on your face, then come along. It will go very nicely with the crazy hair stall we have planned too! Beat the goalie is always popular but he's probably way too good for you this year, so don't worry if you can't beat him! We've got the usual cake stall and refreshments area and we are hoping to put on cream teas this year too. There's lots of other stuff going on too but you'll find out all about it when you come to join in the fun. Admission is £1 for anyone over the age of 14 with children under that age getting in free and in the interest of safety, we do ask that children are accompanied by a responsible person over the age of 14. SUMMER FUNDAY MEETINGS

Hello,
We've arranged a couple of meetings to talk about the Summer Fair. Please come along and join us - we're bringing cake!
The first meeting is at Whitehill School on Tuesday 15th April at 1.30pm and you'll find us in the scout hut.
The second meeting has been arranged for Thursday 17th April at 7.30pm at Highbury School and you'll find us in the dining area. No cake for this one - wine and nibbles instead!
We're not going to push you into doing anything you don't want to do but, if you do fancy lending a hand, at least it will give you a chance to see who you may have to spend your day with!
