Easter Egg Tombola and Cake Sale

We'd love this popular Easter egg tombola to run again this year. The children love it.

This year we plan to run it on Wednesday 19th March but we need your help. Would you be willing to take this challenge on? We have some lovely ladies who have done this in the past who I'm sure would offer some really good advice (because they were so good at it last year!).

As well as the tombola, we plan to run a cake sale and so if anyone has any baking skills, we'd love your contributions.

Please get in touch via the blog, or by dropping a note into either of the school offices.

Thanks very much.

Gayle and Linda have said they will organise this event again this year. I am so happy! We are thinking of doing a tombola at each school. This means that the eggs bought in to Highbury will stay at Highbury and the eggs donated at Whitehill will stay at Whitehill. Usually, Whitehill people miss out on the tombola and the cake sale because of the logistics of collecting children from both schools. Just waiting to hear from Mrs Cook to see if we can run a tombola on Tuesday 18th March. We would also do 2 cake sales! So get baking!

Another successful tombola and cake sale! I'd like to say a huge thank you to Gayle Fitter and Linda Dinsey for taking on the tombola challenge for another year! All the children love this event and seemed to go away very very happy with the eggs that they won on the day. We'd also like to say thankyou to everyone else who took part in these events - for those that donated eggs, paid to have a go in the tombola, helped set up, or put away, and for those that donated cakes for the cake sale. And of course a final thank you to the children for taking part.

Hope to see you at the next event!
